Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data the "Exits" mobile app and the exits.zone website (the "Service") collect, how it is used, and what rights you have as a user. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. What data we collect

  • Account data — the email address used for registration and sign-in.
  • Profile data — name, nickname, photo, home dropzone, social media links and other information you provide voluntarily.
  • Jump data — logbook entries: date, dropzone, aircraft, altitude, gear, notes and related statistics.
  • Location data — GPS coordinates, altitude and speed recorded as your jump track. Location is collected only while a track recording is in progress — you start and stop it yourself — and only after you have granted the app location permission in your device settings. Outside of track recording, the app does not track your location. The track is stored as part of the jump entry and is deleted together with it.
  • Media files — photos and videos you attach to your jumps.
  • Push tokens — a technical device identifier used to deliver notifications.
  • Technical data — device model, OS version and error logs needed for support and troubleshooting.

2. Why we use the data

  • operating the Service: keeping the logbook, syncing between devices;
  • recording and displaying your jump track: trajectory, altitude and speed based on location data;
  • social features: profile, follows, feed — within the privacy settings you choose;
  • delivering the notifications you have enabled;
  • user support and fixing errors.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. Where the data is stored

The Service relies on third-party processing platforms:

  • Supabase — database and authentication;
  • Yandex Object Storage — media file storage;
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notification delivery.

4. Profile privacy

You control the visibility of your data: a private profile shows statistics and posts only to approved followers. Public profile data (name, nickname, photo) is visible to other users of the Service. Jump tracks follow the same privacy settings as the rest of your logbook data.

5. Your rights

  • view and edit your profile data in the app;
  • delete your account with all its data: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible;
  • request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@exits.zone.

6. Children's data

The Service is not intended for persons under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page. We will announce significant changes in the app.
